Job Description

Position: IT Asset Management Contractor

Duration: 11 + Months

Location: 80 Park Plaza Newark NJ


Job Description: 

Develop or modify information system document for developers to translate into program language; will define and formulate system scope objectives. Must have an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Will analyze business and end user needs. Revise existing system logic.


This is a request to supplement the current IT Asset Management staff during the implementation of the Print Management Right Sizing Project.  


This position will be responsible for maintenance and tracking of all printer moves, updates of existing floor plans, keeping the SharePoint site updated with project status reports, and support with the print mailbox responses and resolution.


Responsibilities also include communication and coordination with the print vendor, management of the inventory and physical printer moves, and contact with the client in regard to issues and requirements.


Support financial and analytical printer related assignments as they arise. 


Required Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:


Bachelor degree with experience in IT related projects/initiatives.


Proficiency with Microsoft products (particularly with Excel and PowerPoint), working knowledge of SharePoint, and use of Outlook.  

Must have organizational and analytical skills. Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.

Team player, detail oriented, creative thinker. Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a team.


Desired Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:


Desired skills include specific knowledge of IT assets, especially printers, experience working and communicating with clients, and interaction with vendors. Also, experience in project management, process improvement, and change management.
