Position: WebSphere Administrator

Location: Georgetown, KY 

Duration: 6 Months

Job Description: 

• Team member must have 6+ years’ experience working with Websphere and Weblogic application server and protal deployments including creation and configuration of portal schema. 

• This includes being able to do technical documentation, deployment and back out instructions, working with customers through Weblogic installations and troubleshooting, performance testing and troubleshooting 

• Installation configuration and administration of WebSphere Application Server. 

• Installation, configuration and administration of IBM HTTP Server. 

• Hand-on experience on configuration of Virtual Host. 

• Setting up SSL on IHS, OHS and apache webservers. 

• Good knowledge on configuration of WebSphere portlets. 

• Good understanding of JMS configuration. 

• Deploy, troubleshoot the issues encountered during. 

• Hand on experience on upgrading / migration from v6.x to 7.x /8.x Websphere Portal. 

• Good understanding of Websphere Node/Cluster communication. 

• Level 2 and Level 3 support. 

• Good understanding of WebSphere error handling.
