Our Client is looking for Research Scientist…!!!!!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The candidate will be a member of the Tumor Cell Biology-Epigenetic group. 

• He/she will design and execute experiments to evaluate, characterize and validate the mechanism of action of epigenetic targets in oncology using shRNA or small molecule inhibitors in human cell lines. 

• The applicant will function as a member of a multidisciplinary project team and will present results and recommendations at local project team and related meetings. 

• The candidate is expected to embrace an innovative culture and contribute to creating an exciting, collaborative, productive and scientifically igorous working environment. 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

• Strong Cell and Molecular Biology background with an understanding of epigenetic biology - Extensive experience in molecular and cell biology in vitro techniques including: human cell culture, qPCR, western blotting, immunoprecipitation (including ChIP), proliferation assays, flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.

• B.S. degree with 7+ years’ experience; MS degree plus 5+ years’ experience.

• Previous experience in pharma and/or biotech environment is preferred.

• Industry experience and understanding oncology drug discovery is required. 

• Previous experience in epigenetics is highly preferred, although candidates with strong knowledge in molecular biology and gene transcription will be considered .
