This is Contract position with my direct client 

Job Responsibilities:

• The candidate will work in a research environment in support of discoveries in immunology and inflammation. 

• The individual will be actively involved in laboratory work related to the dosing and sampling of molecules, raw materials, and-or blood and tissues for the determination of pharmacokinetic properties of new therapeutics coming from various research targets through in vivo experimentation. 

• As such, the individual will need to have a broad understanding of drug administration and sampling techniques. 

• The individual will also need experience in IACUC standards and requirements. 

• Experience with rodents is required.

• Interact with vivarium staff to coordinate in vivo study execution and sample acquisition.

• Manage processing and Characterization of samples obtained from in vivo studies.

• Execute soluble protein isolation and analysis via bead-based multiplex platform.

• Execute mRNA isolation and expression characterization via quantitative real time PCR.

• Mammalian cell culture and aseptic technique.

• Ability to manage workload, coordinate in vivo studies and prioritize tasks.

• Demonstration of oral, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to document and effectively communicate interpretation of data and results. 

• BS with 5 years’ experience or MS with 2 year experience
