Job Description

• Coordinate EHS activities for the NJ sites. 

• Ensure compliance with routine Safety and IH requirements. 

• Assist facilities with EHS Standards implementation and in improving their EHS management system 

• Perform accident investigations and participate in the Workers Compensation and Return to Work activities. 

• Support IH Program by conducting IH risk assessments and enter data in Medgate 

• Coordinate sampling with the labs o Order sampling supplies 

• Conduct IH sampling

• Enter sampling events and results in Medgate

• Enter historic sampling data in Medgate

• Validate General EHS risk Assessments for NJ sites 

• Conduct Job Hazard Analysis

• Support EHS Training by

• Enter historical training records in P2L

• Create P2L course descriptions, schedule training and track attendance 

• Conduct training for 2015 training schedule. 

• Compliance Tracking

• Support Inspections Programs by completing Quarterly Inspections of assigned areas

• Track Action Items to completion 

• Support EHS program Reviews 

• Support Field Id. 

• Support EHS SOPs review

• EHS documentation Archiving 

• General EHS Support Some Travel 20% (80% Parsippany/20% Pea-Pack)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree on Safety, Industrial Hygiene, EHS, Environmental Science or equivalent required with 5 years EHS work experience or, field experience

• Good command of federal, state and local safety laws and regulations.

• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills in representing the Company during training and inspections.

• General knowledge of EHS management practices.

• Excellent planning, analytical and problem solving skills.

• Ability to work inside and outdoors, even in foul weather if required. Must be able to climb ladders, able to lift moderate weights (25-40 lbs.) and walk on rough terrain.

• Experience and knowledge in EHS compliance.

• Good command of federal, state and local health & safety laws and regulations.

• Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills in representing Pfizer during safety and health inspections.

• Applied knowledge on management practices.

• Excellent planning, analytical and problem solving skills.
