- Well-established, growing practice with multiple locations across Ponchatoula, Covington, and Amite, LA, offering long-term stability and room to grow.
- Full clinical support and strong clinical team of board-certified Dermatologists, experienced Advanced Practice Providers, and licensed aestheticians.
- State-of-the-art practice with the latest advanced medical equipment and treatments.
- Practice includes general medical dermatology, skin cancer detection and treatment, dermatologic surgery, and a full range of cosmetic services, providing a robust, built-in referral base for Mohs surgery.
- Easily commutable from New Orleans and the Northshore.
Job Description
About the Role
- Perform Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer, along with complex reconstructive repairs.
- Serve as the practice's dedicated Mohs surgeon, with a steady stream of referrals from on-site physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
- Practice at the top of your license, with full clinical and administrative support on-site.
- Join a practice with a genuine team culture. Physicians, APPs, and aestheticians work together to provide the best care.
- Enjoy a convenient daytime schedule with no call responsibility.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- Board-certified Dermatologist, MD or DO, with fellowship training in Mohs surgery.
- Active Louisiana medical license (or eligibility to obtain).
- A patient-first mindset and genuine passion for skin cancer treatment and reconstructive care.
- Strong clinical and surgical judgment, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative care team.
- Team-oriented, reliable, and ready to hit the ground running.
