Job Description
- Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Assist providers with dermatologic procedures, including excisions and Mohs surgery.
- Perform patient assessment, intake, triage, and documentation.
- Accurately document patient information and clinical activities within the electronic health record (EHR).
- Maintain knowledge of laboratory testing procedures, specimen handling, and applicable coding practices.
- Prepare treatment rooms and procedure areas.
- Maintain medical supplies and equipment, including room stocking, inventory management, and ordering support.
- Provide direct patient care and patient education as directed by the provider.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type:
- Full-time
- Pay range starting at $20/hr
Experience:
- Medical students who have taken a gap year will be considered, even without prior clinical experience.
- For all other candidates, 1–2 years of relevant medical assistant or healthcare experience is preferred.
- Dermatology experience is preferred but not required.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Additional healthcare training or coursework preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Current Medical Assistant certification preferred (e.g., CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent), but not required unless mandated by state law.
