Work hours of the position are 10:30am - 7:00pm EST. This is a fully remote position.
Job Description
- Patient Scheduling: Arrange and manage patient appointments, follow-ups, and referrals to ensure seamless, timely visits.
- High-Volume Phone Lines: Be a friendly voice on the other end of the line, providing top-notch customer service and support to patients and their families.
- Effective Communication: Act as the go-to point of contact, promptly addressing patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Record Management: Keep patient information up to date in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with account managers and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and enhance the patient experience.
- Compliance: Uphold healthcare regulations and standards to maintain the highest quality of service.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Prior Healthcare Experience: Background in patient care coordination
- Strong understanding of insurance eligibility using Availity and Payor specific platforms
- Outstanding Communication: Friendly, clear, and professional phone manners.
- Organizational Proficiency: Able to handle multiple tasks seamlessly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating medical software and EHR systems.
- Compassionate Mindset: A genuine desire to help others and prioritize patient care.
