Job Description

​​​​​​Duties 

  • Assess and prioritize patient needs based on urgency and medical history. 
  • Gather detailed patient information and medical history related to dermatological concerns. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and concerns. 
  • Relay information between patients and dermatologists, ensuring clear communication. 
  • Provide patients with information on dermatological conditions and treatment options. 
  • Instruct patients on pre- and post-treatment care, including medication usage and skincare routines. 
  • Clear communication to patients regarding biopsy results and treatment needed  
  • Schedule appropriate appointments based on provider guidelines

Additional Information

Job Type:

  • Full-time – Monday-Friday: 8 am-5 pm

 

Experience:

  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records( EHR)
  • At least 2 years of triage experience in a medical office

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma is required

 

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma or Associate degree preferred

 

Pay

  • Starts at $20.00 hourly and increases with experience
