Our fast-growing healthcare company is looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Auditor who is responsible for reviewing staff productivity for quality results. The positions include billers, payment posters, and insurance and patient collectors. This position requires attention to detail and knowledge of medical billing, EOB’s/ERA’s, copay/coinsurance/deductible, denial codes, insurance allowable, adjustments, write offs, and takebacks as well as insurance collections. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dedicated and a positive individual who will fit into our ‘Get it done!’ culture. This is a fully REMOTE position.

Job Description

  • Accurately performs quality assurance audits for individuals in all RCM positions such as billers, payment posters and patient and insurance collectors according to RCM processes and CMS and CPT code guidelines.
  • Ensure all RCM documented protocols and CMS and CPT code guidelines are followed in all positions.
  • Document detailed results with explanation on why an error is documented.
  • Communicates results to Management on a timely basis.
  • Makes recommendations to Management regarding additional training.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to process claims, payments and collections efficiently.
  • Use all billing systems data to identify errors
  • Work with all members of the Revenue Cycle Department in a coordinated team effort to ensure an overall and individual quality rating 97% and above.
  • Performs other tasks within job scope as requested by Management.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years medical billing and auditing experience
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to accept change
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills with a positive “Can do” attitude
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
