The Institut Supérieur Maria Montessori (ISMM) is a French non-profit organization founded on February 25, 1998 to promote Montessori education through the training of education professionals.
It includes a training organization accredited by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) and two Montessori schools. It is a founding member of the Fondation Montessori de France.
The Institute trains more than 400 people per year on its four sites in France: Nogent-sur-Marne, Lyon and Montpellier and in its application school, the École Montessori de Paris (Paris 9th). It delivers the Montessori International Teacher Diploma as well as the Montessori International Assistant Certificate, recognized in Montessori schools throughout the world.
L’équipe de formation de l’ISMM est composée de formatrices/eurs formé(e)s par l’Association Montessori Internationale et de personnels administratifs impliqués dans le respect de la réglementation des organismes de formations et la démarche Qualité.
L’ISMM dispose d’un département de formation 3/6 ans à Lyon, qui propose des formations d’éducatrice/eur Montessori et d’assistant(e) Montessori, des week-end de découverte de la pédagogie Montessori, des formations sur site sur mesure et l’accompagnement d’établissements accueillant des enfants de trois à six ans.
Job Description
We are looking for an AMI 3/6 Trainer to serve as the Training Director for the Montessori 3/6 Academic Course that will be offered in our training center Lyon (France) from September 7, 2023 to June 14, 2024.
The Training Director will be supported by the center's faculty staff, which includes
- an Auxiliary Trainer AMI 3/6 years old with a solid experience as a trainer (10 years);
- an assistant trainer with a diploma as a 3/6 AMI Teacher.
The Director of Training will propose to ISMM an organization of the course that relies as much as possible on the permanent faculty staff and respects the rules of AMI. For example, the Director of Training could open the course, intervene at another time during the course and carry out regular reviews with the permanent faculty staff, which will run the rest of the course. This organization must be approved by the AMI.
The Director of Training can lectures either in French or in English. If necessary, we will provide an translation assistance.
Depending on your profile, you will be able to pursue your own training or educational activities.

You are en AMI 3/6 Trainer who can lectures either in French or in English.
