The DevNet Architect plays a major role in ensuring RBEI’s Practice of IT Infrastructure and Cloud is fully coordinated and delivering to the expectations of our IT Infrastructure Customers. This position would be a key customer facing role where the Architect will be working closely with key players from customer to technical staff and leadership level of business unit. Through the working relationship with the customer- DevNet Architect is responsible for ensuring the RBEI’s proposed networking and Security strategy would conform and enhance our customer’s current and future needs. Additionally, the Architect looks at the future needs with the customer and design and implement solutions for them

Job Description

Candidates with 8-10 years of experience candidate must have Devnet experience Network architect (L2/L3 switching/routing + WLAN + Security based on ACL) exposure to network operations Exposure in Aruba and Cisco switch configuration and knowledge of switch operating systems for older and latest generation switches/routers Experience in Software Defined Network (SDN) technologies of Aruba and Cisco & VMWARE Exposure to programming/scripting skills in Perl, python for automated configuration changes Exposure to WebService technologies for SDN automation Experience in Network Management Tools of Microfocus (Operations Orchestration: OO Network Automation: NA Network Node Manager: NNMi) Knowledge of API's and their integration Highly innovative thinking and problem-solving skills Keyskills : Cisco DevNet, Cisco ACI, Network Automation, Scripting (Perl or Python), SDN (Software define network), Rest APIs plus Networking, Rest APIs plus Network Programming, SDN plus DevNet, NNMI Plus SDN, API plus Network Preferred Certification: Cisco DevNet Certified, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, SDN, NSX.
