Currently looking for an Asset Manager to fill an opening with a company located in Chicago, IL. Interested candidates should have 6-10 years’ real estate, finance, or healthcare experience and superior critical analysis skills.

Responsibilities of the Asset Manager
 

• Act as point of contact and relationship manager for triple-net leased portfolio of properties.
• Manage client credit risk through understanding of operator, tenant, property financial performance, industry dynamics, and innovative structuring solutions.
• Structure and execute solutions to drive organic NOI growth within portfolio.
• Visit customers, assets, and markets to assess property/operator performance, competition, market dynamics, and industry landscape and identify potential redevelopment or reinvestment opportunities.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of contractual relationships, monitor lease compliance and covenants, and manage lease administration activities.
• Prepare management committee presentations and execute strategies relating to re-leasing, dispositions, lease workout/restructuring, and other ad hoc analyses.

Requirements of the Asset Manager

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 6-10 years’ real estate, finance, or healthcare experience required; MBA desired.
• Superior critical analysis skills and ability to evaluate complex problems from a business and legal perspective and recommend solutions.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a team and comfortable in a fast paced, challenging work environment.
• Ability to travel 25%

Salary: $120,000-140,000
