The Business Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for analyzing business requirements in order to model, design, deploy, and maintain data warehouse implementations for different customers across different verticals.

This position reports to the Professional Services Manager and will work closely with a team to communicate with business stakeholders, customers, end users to create, model, and deploy data analytics and reporting applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into data models that lay the foundation for reporting and analytics;
• Assist with implementation planning and delivery;
• Model, design, and deploy data warehouses fact and dimension;
• Design and deploy Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS);
• Design and deploy multi-dimensional cubes for and tabular models;
• Interface with customers to gather technical requirements;

• 5+ years of experience with SQL/TSQL;
• 3+ years of expert understanding of MDX multi-dimensional cubes or DAX tabular models;
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, including SSIS and SSAS;
• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying Extract Transform Load (ETL) architectures and packages;
• Expert understanding of data management including star schemas, snowflake schemas, and data modeling techniques;
• Experience working with Azure cloud environments and reporting applications;
• Clear and effective communication skills;
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
