Job Description
The SEO Specialist is responsible for continued improvement of organic search performance and conversion rate of insightsoftware’s websites. They will oversee the migration and integration of acquired company websites through M&A activities into insightsoftware’s primary website. They will identify organic search trends in our different verticals, follow best practices, and ultimately improve our organic search presence.
As an SEO Specialist, you will:
Research search trends and ideate new SEO strategies across multiple verticals
Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned to buyer personas and lifecycle stages
Analyze website performance, make SEO best practices recommendations, and partner cross-functionally to deploy continuous improvement of website performance
Oversee the migration and integration of various websites into a single site using SEO best practices
Prioritize and execute with our development team to implement and roll out new features and content
Provide SEO best practices and input on large cross-team website redesign projects
Oversee the localization and subsequent performance of content into our foreign language sites (bilingual/multilingual not a requirement)
Communicate, coordinate, and align with many stakeholders across different parts of the organization.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a Digital Marketing professional, running enterprise organic inbound marketing or content marketing projects in B2B marketing required, including significant experience working with or for software/technology businesses. Experience working with start-ups or high-growth/PE-backed companies will be of substantial benefit
Strong track record of researching, building, and launching successful SEO landing pages that provide meaningful customer value.
Demonstrated business acumen that allows you to forecast and communicate SEO impact.
Experience with SEO best practices including creating and delivering content marketing and technical SEO best practices for content migrations.
Experience with keyword research, URL taxonomy development, and various keyword mapping and categorization strategies.
Advanced understanding of industry tools i.e. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Moz or similar SEO tools.
Experience with project management tools such as Wrike; able to follow and develop processes.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills, and experience working in Google Looker Studio, Power BI, etc.
Experience with data integrations and tools such as Zapier and Supermetrics is a plus.
