Job Description

CloudOps/Systems Engineer role requires maintaining reliable, fault tolerant infrastructure and application availability to meet the demands of our growing customer base. This position will be responsible for production operations and releases of SaaS applications deployed in the public cloud.  This position requires 4-6 years of hands-on experience as a Azure CloudOps/Systems Engineer supporting production SaaS/PaaS environments.

Qualifications

  • Deploy, monitor and maintain mission critical multi-tenant SaaS applications and related highly redundant cloud environments across the globe
  • Proactively analyze cloud infrastructure to identify gaps and improvement opportunities, monitor capacity and ensure superior system performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, ensure proper security controls are enforced
  • Provision and de-provision customers, maintain 99.9% application SLA
  • Develop metrics for infrastructure and application components; establish dashboards for monitoring metrics and key performance indicators
  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities, ensure the releases are planned, developed, validated, and deployed to testing and production environments
  • Manage, implement and maintain BC/DR and backup procedures for all infrastructure components, conduct annual DR tests
  • Actively participate in SOC2/ISO27001 audits and ensure all audited controls are adhered to
  • Able and be willing to provide on-call duty

Additional Information

  • Only the candidates having a strong hands-on experience with the full spectrum of Microsoft Azure components will be considered for this position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server administration, Active Directory, Identity Management, Microsoft IIS and PowerShell scripting is required
  • Solid understanding of cryptography technologies (TLS, IPsec, TDE) and knowledge of enterprise EDR/VMDR systems is required
  • Practical knowledge of network administration (TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, NSG, WAF, L4/L7 load balancing, S2S/P2S VPN etc.) is required
  • Experience with managing multi-tenant SaaS applications is strongly preferred
  • Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, SIEM/CM systems is strongly preferred
  • Understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, Azure DevOps and release management is preferred
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred, but not required 
  • Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment, effectively multi-task and balance multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction is required
