insightsoftware is seeking candidates to join our team as a Accounts Receivable Specialist - Collections. The right candidate for this position will support and promote: excellent customer service, accurate billing practices, prompt customer payments, and detailed inter-departmental record keeping. This position is fast-paced and involves strong analytical and research skills as well as the ability to work in teams. We are looking for an exceptionally smart and ambitious candidate who would like a shot to shine in a dynamic software company.

Responsibilities

• Work with assigned customers to ensure payment of outstanding obligations
• Review aging reports to identify small balance clearing and ensure credit memo requests are processed in timely manner
• Manage incoming customer inquiries with a sense of urgency
• Engage in collections calls on past-due invoices while delivering excellent service
• Analyze customers from a risk standpoint and make recommendations to supervisor on all high-risk customers.
• Contact customers based on scheduled work plan to obtain prompt payment and identify and reconcile disputes.
• Work with clients in obtaining missing purchase orders or other needed documents
• Serve as a liaison between the Sales, Customer Success, and Accounting teams to streamline customer requests.
• Ability to work with confidential information
• Ad Hoc Projects
• Leverage the systems and processes used for Orders and AR (Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite)
• Notate assigned accounts with all updates (Salesforce CPQ and NetSuite)
• Ad Hoc Reporting (Quality Control and Account Reconciliations)

Minimum qualifications:

• 2-5 years of accounts receivable/ collections experience with B2B focus
• High School Diploma (Associates Degree Preferred)
• Highly proficient in computer software programs; specifically Microsoft Excel and Word
• Highly detail-oriented
• Knowledge of billing and credits
• Proven ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Good work ethic and displays a conscientious attitude and behavior at all times.

Preferred qualifications that are highly valued

• NetSuite experience 
• Salesforce experience
• Software billing experience
