Job Description

Summary:

As a Lead Consultant, Professional Services, you will be training and implementing insightsoftware’s reporting solution for leading, world-class customers reporting to the Professional Services Manager. Over time, you will become an expert at implementing our solutions and eventually become trusted advisor and coach to our customers. To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of the Finance and Supply Chain functions of larger organizations and an ability to learn how to use and configure modern reporting business applications quickly.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Ability to translate end-user data requirements through a combination of your own skills and leveraging the talents of the insightsoftware team
  • Implement one or more of our products for new and existing customers
  • Enhance and maintain existing customer’s applications
  • Interact with customers to analyze their requirements and create reporting solutions
  • Integrate products with customers ERP systems and other data sources
  • Plan, prepare and perform product training
  • In time, coach partners and customers in the configuration of customer solutions
  • Assist with system testing and rollout activities
  • Provide acceptance testing and post-conversion support
  • Assist with execution and reconciliation of data conversion
  • Other tasks as requested by leadership
  • Record your time weekly in our PSA solution

Qualifications

Experience Level: 8 to 12 years

  • 8-10 years' experience in JD Edwards ERP software (MUST Have Skill/Knowledge)
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards Manufacturing, Distribution and Project, Asset and Customer Lifecycle modules
  • Proficient in SQL and its variations among popular databases
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or Business Systems
  • 3+ years’ experience in accounting or finance
  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple competing tasks
  • Proficient in common business applications such as Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as CRM and ERP software solutions
  • Understanding software life cycle

Nice to Have

  • Experience and knowledge of Budgeting and Forecasting solutions
  • Experience in performing DB health checks, performance tuning and database optimizations
  • Knowledge of Relational Databases
  • Experience in a customer services role (consulting) within the Finance function of an organization
  • Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite and SAP
