Position Summary:

InsightSoftware is looking for a seasoned and ambitious SDET.  The successful candidate will be responsible for planning different initiatives to ensure quality of the product and build automation for our product (Angles for SAP)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Demonstrated experience in test framework design and development
• Perform Test Automations, including creation & management of test scenarios, documentation, and coding for bug fixes when required.
• Create & manage automation reports and regularly communicate the same to the team.
• Moderate experience working with Product Owners and SMEs to define user story examples/acceptance criteria.

Successful Candidates Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development for testing in Java, C++ or C#
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft technology stack C#, SQL
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in creating automated tests (functional, integration and regression), run manual tests, report metrics and defects
• 3+ year of experience in industry standard test automation tools such as CodedUI/Selenium or Robot test framework
• 2+ years of experience with API/REST automation testing including unit test automation frameworks in C#
• Experience building and designing test cases including knowledge of test methodologies
• Experience with tools like Jira 
• Dev Ops - Study and setup CI and CT environments, work with open-source tools to install, monitor, maintain these systems

Good to have:

• Knowledge of Performance test framework and tools such as Gatling, JMeter or Fiddler
• Experience with open-source tools and resources
• Knowledge of Test frameworks like NUnit or JUnit, Cypress is an added advantage
• Experience in design methodologies like OOAD & Test Patterns
• Knowledge on Cloud (any of AWS, GC, Azure), Virtualization & containers
