Job Description

Are you interested in taking your sales leadership to the next level? If you excel in communicating, implementing, and executing sales activities and strategies to close sales in line with corporate objectives, this is the opportunity for you. The position is responsible for managing high-level sales execution and tracking to meet and exceed their individual and team targets; and for coaching the team to ensure they reach their personal and professional goals. The North American Software Sales Vice President will lead the NA territory sales function. 

  • Leading a team of divisional vice presidents and sales professionals within mid-market sales.
  • Assisting the teams in driving new sales, client expansion and up-selling, and renewing existing business.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota, accelerating close rates, and generating growth.
  • Maximizing sales teams’ efforts by coaching, training, and managing each level of the sales organization.
  • Fostering a culture of energy, excellence, and customer-centric problem-solving.
  • Guiding organization-wide efforts to build sales muscle, driving messaging penetration and product enhancement in the markets we serve.
  • Developing and refining sales strategies to ensure resource leverage to correctly prioritize the right markets with the right products at the right time.
  • Collaborating with sales enablement and training to ensure effective sales strategies, positioning, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of sales management experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Experience leading a multi-layer sales organization.
  • Strong examples of hiring, building, and training sales teams.
  • Great work ethic; proven leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong negotiation and strategic selling skills.
  • Strong executive presence.
  • Proven ability to develop and drive others in a metrics-driven, process-based environment with high accountability.
  • Ability to maintain effective and respected work relationships with other managers and employees.
