Job Description

The Professional Services Automation (PSA) administrator has the responsibility for the functioning, security, support, enhancement, and adoption of the PSA application, Kantata (formerly Kimble). The administrator works with end users and stakeholders to provide technical and functional support to the day-day use of the system, answers questions, and addresses requests such as creation of dashboards and reports, period management activities, resource management, monitoring of back-end jobs, enhancement requests and configuration updates.

The administrator is expected to operate in a team-based environment as well as an individual contributor, with minimal supervision and wide latitude for independent judgement, assisting team members and end-users, as needed.

  • Perform administrator functions in the system, such as user management, license management, creation/updates of user profiles, roles, permissions, and rules.
  • Monitor back-end jobs.
  • Prepare for upgrades and new releases.
  • Help manage integrations to related systems such as Concur and NetSuite.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure all data is accurate, complete, and easily accessible.
  • Interact with end users and stakeholders to provide high quality support.
  • Expand system use and adoption throughout the organization, by answering “how to” questions and enabling new features and functionality.
  • Create and administer end-user training.
  • Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Update and maintain transactional data i.e. proposals, engagements, and assignments.
  • Understand new business requirements and map the requirements back to configuration and enhancements of the PSA application.
  • Support weekly and monthly period closure activities.
  • Provide weekly status updates on metrics, relative to system use, issues, and enhancements.
  • Support end-user communications regarding weekly tasks reminders, system changes and updates
  • Assist with Data migration and data management within PSA
  • Develop and maintain internal knowledge base documentation

Qualifications

        Requirements/Competencies:

  • Two or more years of experience administering a PSA tool such as Kantata, OpenAir, Changepoint, or Financial Force.
  • Experience with creating and updating user records, profiles, page layouts, objects. report types, reports, workflows, and custom fields.
  • Highly autonomous and self-directed.
  • Able to successfully function in a team-based environment.
  • Available to support multiple time zones.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and people skills.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to understand the big picture of how the PSA workstream fits with CRM and ERP processes.

        Preferred but not required:

  • Knowledge of Concur and NetSuite.
  • Experience using ETL tools such as Boomi.
  • Experience with tools to pull information into/out of SF i.e., data loader.
  • Salesforce.com certifications
