Job Description

Summary:

This Information Security Analyst position interfaces with sales, marketing, information security, engineering, customer success and, at times, customers and vendors to proactively create customer-facing information security documentation, reactively respond to customer and vendor questionnaires, and assess vendor risk. This individual must be a self-starter, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to effectively manage multiple requests from various parties simultaneously.

 

The Information Security Analyst will help coordinate project and task assignments and follow-up and assist in other information security efforts as the business requires.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create templated answers for and respond directly to customer and vendor information security questionnaires.
  • Assist sales, customer success and legal with requests regarding information security.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and others to create and maintain customer-facing documents regarding the security of our company and products.
  • Respond to and route information security group requests and follow up with people throughout the company who have information security assigned tasks.
  • Conduct assessments of third-party vendors.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years direct experience in information security compliance and/or in writing RFP responses.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to proofread and edit other’s responses.
  • Ability to learn the basics of multiple insightsoftware products.
  • Preferred understanding of SOC2 reports and at least basic experience reading and evaluating them.
  • Outstanding record of project and task management success.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
