Job Description

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, the candidate will report to Product Management but work closely with UX and development teams.  Your designs will be directly reflected in the products developed for the end user and define pathways for future features to pursue.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with both internal and external customers to identify product pain points and get feedback on potential solutions.  
- Conceptually iterate on product features, creating wireframes and prototypes that translate customer requirements into cohesive experiences for defined persona.
- This individual will work closely with product managers and product owners to define acceptance criteria for development teams.
- Support an agile process, working with development teams to solve implementation challenges that arise during sprints.  
- This individual won’t directly check-in code, but they will need to communicate effectively with the people that do.
- Review UI, enforce UX standards, and ensure product consistency.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Intermediate to Advanced level experience with Sketch or Figma prototyping tool.

- Have experience working with Personas.

- Experience with UX Discovery phase that would include either one or all of the below, 

·       Competitive Analysis

·       Personas

·       User Journeys and User Flows

·       UX Wireframes

·       Interactive Prototype

- Experience designing enterprise products (portfolio examples required).
- Experience creating interactive prototypes.  
- Experience communicating with technical product managers and development staff.
- Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with B2B Software design will be considered a plus.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in Design, Human–Computer Interaction (HCI), or equivalent practical experience. 
  • 5+ years design or prototyping experience. 
  • Design portfolio demonstrating a strong design process with interaction and visual design skills. 
  • Experience collaborating cross functionally, globally and building consensus amongst multiple stakeholders. 
  • Experience in creating wireframes, visual mockups, graphics, and user workflows 
  • Excellent organization skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to adjust to frequent changes in project priorities 
  • Flexibility, open-mindedness, ability and desire to learn. 
  • Work independently with minimal direction 
  • A solid understanding of the design and product development processes 
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment 
  • Strong oral, written communication and presentation skills
