Summary:

Sr Analyst – Procurement - will work on low value PO's as per threshold and process request. He/she will have relevant work experience in operational, procurement management, negotiation, amendments and changes to POs and transmitting documents (POs etc).  He/she will work efficiently with requester/client for additional information or any questions.

Primary Responsibilities:

-        Obtain quotes, negotiate, and issue Purchase Orders as per the existing Procurement Policy

-        Prepare monthly Procurement SLA / KPI reports for Senior Management review

-        Collaborates with Business Partners to drive value for the business, while maintaining high quality service standards

-        Develop knowledge of competitors' products, services and external environment

-        Perform market research to understand latest trends in industry and potential impact to business

-        Gather market research/data and conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to develop sourcing strategies and recommendations

-        Strong customer service orientation including demonstrated issue resolution and relationship management skills

-        Monitoring and Maintaining Supplier Relationships

Achievements/Goals within first 6-12 months:

-        Independently own the Procurement process for spend upto the defined threshold

-        Setup and own the process for reporting of monthly KPI’s

-        Drive savings / cost reduction as one of the key metrics

-        Manage supplier escalations on contractual obligations

-        Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting.

-        5 plus years in procurement and vendor management

-        Additional qualification in supply chain management preferred

-        NetSuite experience preferred

-        Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), eRFX and eAuction experience preferred

-        Strong verbal and written communication.

-        Strong negotiation and presentation skills

-        Customer service and collaboration.
