Insightsoftware is seeking a Solution Engineer reporting to the Senior Solution Engineering – APAC. This position will handle product demonstrations and pre-sales support for our Sales Executives when selling Solutions to our Customers and Prospects.

The right candidate has a strong executive presence and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate will ideally have a solid technical understanding of multiple Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) systems, preferrably cloud based, and be able to speak to and understand financial planning and reporting challenges faced by companies of all sizes and scopes today. 

· Use knowledge of Financial Planning and Reporting solutions to assess prospect requirements

· Articulate how insightsoftware solutions solve specific business problems

· 2+ years related experience in delivering online and in person product demonstrations, specifically around financial planning and analysis software

· Assist with RFI and RFP document responses

· Travel to and present on-site demonstrations as needed

· Deliver presentations to support marketing efforts of our products

· Build relationships to become a trusted solution advisor

Technical Skills

· Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning from a functional perspective

· Understand financial applications (budgeting, planning, forecasting, month end close, financial reporting and consolidations).

· Previous experience in an accounting or FP&A role beneficial.

· Familiarity with advanced Excel capabilities and functions

· Experience working with multi-dimensional systems

· Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

· Knowledge of ETL data processes

Role Based Competencies

· Strong written and oral communication skills in English and well presented.

· Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers who have varying levels of functional and technical expertise

· Comfortable presenting to and speaking with C-level executives
