• Collaborate with Product Managers to help formulate our product vision, strategy, and roadmap
• Own the team’s product backlog, balancing conflicting priorities to determine prioritization
• Own the team’s release planning and sprint planning processes with the engineering leads, including setting release and sprint goals, and successfully delivering on those goals
• Play an active role in mitigating risks and issues impacting successful completion of these goals
• Ensure acceptance and quality criteria are met with current release and conduct sprint reviews from a business/customer perspective
• Produce documentation with Product Managers and Engineering to support the development, launch, and deployment of product releases
• Drive & Grit – Operate in a fast-paced environment with a focus and determination to achieve high-quality results
• Strategic Thinker – determine opportunities and threats through comprehensive analysis of current and future trends with the ability to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way
• Product Focus – Assist Product Managers to translate market and customer feedback into requirements, driving product delivery through an agile release process
• Customer Focused – passionate about creating value for our customers

• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally in the field of financial software & services
• Bachelor’s in computer science, Engineering, or similar field, or corresponding experience
• In-depth knowledge of Agile software development processes and principles
• Ability to balance conflicting priorities and negotiate a backlog with engineers and leadership
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Preferred qualifications:
  • 3+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management role
  • Experience in Financial Management business area
  • Knowledge of ETL tools and data management is a plus
• Desirable certifications: Agile software development, Scrum Product Owner
