Responsibilities includes (but not limited to):

1. Lead the design and implementation of our cloud infrastructure including CI/CD, provisioning, and monitoring.
2. Authoring automated, scalable, plug & play AWS resource provisioning, Application deployment, monitoring and architecture design with a focus on cost and optimization.
3. Build infrastructure that enables our development teams to improve system scalability and reliability.
4. Build and maintain automation pipelines supporting Continuous Integration, Deployment, Test and Delivery
5. Implement CI/CD governance, best practices, principles, processes. 
6. Responsible and accountable for establishing and maintaining the DevOps processes for the software development team promoting DevOps culture supporting Config as Code and Infrastructure as Code best practices.
7. Predict, prevent and assess infrastructure vulnerabilities.

Key Skills: AWS, Powershell, Terraform, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure - Terraform interoperability, CI CD, AWS Solution Architect OR AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional OR Azure AZ400 certified would be added advantage

Qualifications:

• Min 6+ years of expertise and hands-on experience in DevOps, Automation, PAAS, IaaS, Build and Release Engineering, Configuration Management, Cloud Infrastructure Automation includes Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Strong experience in Deployment vis the AWS platform implementation including Security, Compute, Containers, Storage, Azure and AWS Network constructs, Databases, Monitoring, logging, alerts, BCDR
• Must have prior experience in performing assessment of existing AWS, Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps services, identifying gaps in implementation with respect to Best practices, Security, Compliance, Governance and Operations and define future state of AWS
• Strong experience in conducting DevOps solution assurance for Development Integration, Testing, delivery, deployment and security
• Experienced in Build from the ground up a DevOps tools-chain (Azure Devops, Terraform, AWS, powershell, Azure and terraform interoperability)
• Scripting Experience in Shell script (powershell) worked on creating shell scripts for automation of deployments.
• Experience in Scripting in YAML, Groovy
• Experience in managing and making projects version control strategies, Branching, merging, forking repositories using Azure Git\Git 
• Ability to define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS

Good to have skills:

• Experience in Linux worked with Text manipulations and Process monitoring command awk, sed, ps, top, etc, in text editors.
• Exposure to automated deployments of Microservices, Containerization of the stack.
• Past experience writing applications in languages such as Python, Go, or Java
• Past experience managing various database technologies, both relational and non-relational
