Job Description

Are you an intelligent and highly motivated Functional Support Engineer with excellent communication and trouble-shooting skills? The ideal candidate is passionate about delighting customers, has technical skills, is an excellent problem solver, and is self-directed.

The Junior Support Engineer will deliver high end Support to our customers (companies like Vinci, RTE and Orange) and partners as well as to our internal team in the accounts’ consolidation and budgets planning. You will work on high-profile clients and projects, collaborating with their functional and technical consultants to deliver the highest quality services possible. You will serve as motivational team member to ensure internal and external needs are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.

If you are interested by financial and accounting subjects, your curiosity will lead you to develop a triple skill: technical, business, and relational. The missions you will work on are varied and challenging and will allow you to acquire solid knowledge of the financial aspect of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support and daily assistance to our clients in the development of their 
consolidation as it is a key element for their business
• Take part in the deployment and assistance missions on the IFRS 16 standard
• Take part in the development and organization of the Support Department, by keeping tabs     on the incidents’ database
• Identify incidents and resolve customer issues or escalate them to a higher level
• Provide heightened support for new functionalities or features
• Take part in the updates’ planning and new technologies deployment
• Strengthen business relationships with customers by providing high quality service
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience on software installations, network operations, and software support
  • A degree in Finance or Accounting
  • At least 1 year of experience in a financial department, consolidation department or an accounting/auditing firm.
  • A good knowledge of IFRS standards
  • A good knowledge of SQL
  • A solid ability to communicate in English
