Job Description

 

The Manager, Equity Management Operations is accountable for the management of the Operations team that provides operational support and service delivery to outsourced Equity plan administration customers. This position reports to the Senior Director, Equity Management Operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage a wide range of highly complex operational activities
  • Manage operations personnel including hiring, training, and staff development.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor goals, objectives, and work standards
  • Minimize risk associated with large amounts of data processing
  • Assist in the short and long-range planning of team goals and objectives
  • Work collaboratively and actively coordinate operations deliverables with peers in the Administration Services group
  • Work closely with the team leadership to research and resolve escalated inquiries from Insight Software administration clients
  • Assist Operations Specialists with organizing complex processing events and quarter end activities
  • Facilitate problem solving meetings and discussions to identify and implement appropriate solutions
  • Coordinate projects necessary to successfully support complex client needs
  • Communicate project findings, conclusions and recommendations with clients and management
  • Perform internal control design and process testing for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance
  • Actively participate in establishing internal business process as needed
  • Formulate responses to clients on complex operational issues
  • Research issues and recommend solutions in support of complex plan designs
  • Perform special project work as needed

 

Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • B.S. in a Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or Finance
  • 3+ years in supervisory/management role
  • CEP (Certified Equity Professional) Certification or attainment within 24 months
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and independent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
  • Adequate knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations
  • Strong organizational skills required to successfully lead in a fast-paced work environment
  • Exceptionally resourceful, detail-oriented with ability to deliver complete and accurate results
  • Experience working with different types of Equity Plans in both private and public companies preferred
