Insightsoftware is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering – North America. This position will handle product demonstrations and pre-sales support for our Sales Executives when selling Solutions to our Customers and Prospects. They will also be a SME/Technical resource for Channel Partners selling Bizvuew & Jet products.

The right candidate has strong executive presence and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate will ideally have a solid technical understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) systems (Dynamics AX, GP, NAV, Business Central, F&SCM) and be able to speak to and understand financial reporting and analytics challenges faced by companies of all sizes and scope today. Candidate will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Use knowledge of Analytics and Reporting solutions to assess prospect requirements
• Articulate how insightsoftware solutions solve specific business problems
• Deliver online and in-person product demonstrations, specifically around financial reporting, analysis, and planning software
• Travel to and present on-site demonstrations as needed
• Deliver presentations to support marketing efforts of our products
• Build relationships to become a trusted solution advisor

Technical Skills

• 5+ years related work experience with Financial Reporting and/or Analytics solutions
• Understand financial applications (budgeting, planning, forecasting, month-end close, financial reporting, and consolidations)
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning from a functional perspective
• Familiarity with advanced Excel capabilities and functions
• Previous experience with the insightsoftware suite of products preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services
• Knowledge of ETL data processes

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers who have varying levels of functional and technical expertise
