Position Summary:

The Program Manager is a client facing role responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and managing multiple large-scale, strategically important ETL data conversion projects. This position will provide day to day project leadership for multiple project managers who have the direct day to day responsibility for managing specific client projects. This role provides mature leadership and fosters strong client and GSI relationships, ensures proper expectations are set and met by all parties while serving as the point of needed project escalation.

The role will include, but is not limited to:

Leading and working global teams including project managers, engineering, product, and technical and functional consultants to ensure the successful delivery of product implementations for insightsoftware customers.
Applying and staying within the requirements of insightsoftware and larger PMO standards.
Monitoring and reporting progress against program objectives, performance indicators and goals
Developing and executing on client communication and change management plans
Oversee implementation and management of required governance and operational working practices required for the projects
Work in collaboration with Global System Integrators to address the complexities of multiple/shared external project objectives.
Multitask, managing several projects at different lifecycle stages, while following excellent project management practices
Undertaking various project management responsibilities including engaging with stakeholders, project planning, project reporting, RAID (risk, assumption, issue, dependencies) management and benefit tracking.
Demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication skills and an analytical, problem-solving capability
Maintains strong business acumen and understands financial and operational concepts impacting organizational performance and KPI’s.
 

8-10 years of client facing program management skills leading highly visible, large-scale, critical projects. Must have experience leading executive program engagement and steering committees with Global Systems Integrators (GSI).
Excellent interpersonal skills with an established collaborative approach when interacting with program stakeholders, colleagues, cross-functional teams, executives and third parties.
Proven track record in the delivery of complicated projects; experience in working closely with customers, senior stakeholders, GSI’s, and significant sized global project teams
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships at all levels of the organization, and strong track record influencing at all levels
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
BS or MBA in Business, Technology, General Management, or equivalent work experience
Extensive experience in working with external customers
Strong written and verbal skills, and analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
PMP Certification a plus, Microsoft Project a requirement
Experience implementing ERP Financials (EBS, Peoplesoft, JDE, SAP)
