insightsoftware is seeking a Data & Systems Analyst to join our Product Operations team and help drive the successful execution and measurement of our strategic initiatives. Your mission will be to enable our cross-functional team of Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to operate as effectively as possible by providing data and reporting to guide decision making. You will also act as the system administrator for the tools used by the Product Management team

What will you do?

• Partner with product stakeholders to understand data and business needs
• Conduct analysis across a variety of data sources, including but not limited to: CRM, product usage, pricing, NPS, customer feedback, feature requests, and support tickets, to understand the performance of existing solutions and identify improvement opportunities
• Define metrics to evaluate and monitor business performance, product performance, and experiments
• Build reports and dashboards based on cross-functional stakeholder requirements, with the ability to understand and communicate key insights to an executive audience
• Maintain and develop our tools like Aha!, Confluence and Sharepoint. Adding users, implementing standard work processes and train new employees on these tools and processes

Successful Candidates Will Demonstrate:

• Excellent problem-solving skills with a passion for understanding root causes (familiarity with techniques like “Five Whys”)
• Drive and grit – operate in a fast-paced environment with a focus and determination to achieve high-quality results
• Excitement to learn new technologies and analytical methodologies relating to business intelligence and data analysis
• Affinity with systems and system administration (Aha!, Pendo, Confluence, Sharepoint)

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field
• 1+ years of professional experience in Product Operations, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, array functions etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

• B2B software industry experience
• Proficiency working with CRM data (Salesforce)
• Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adjust to changes in project priorities
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction
