Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead a fast-paced team in expanding our emerging budgeting and planning product solutions. As a key member of the Product team, you will work closely with Product Managers to transform the strategic product roadmap into a well-defined set of technical features and then deliver on them successfully from one release to the next. You will lead the engineering development team to successful deliver releases on time, in scope and within budget. You will interface with customers and internal stakeholders to continuously understand and identify business problems and ensure we are building solutions that meet their needs while delivering with quality and an unrivaled user experience.
The ideal candidate will be have strong leadership abilities to steer the engineering team and make decisions, highly collaborative with the ability to lead cross-functionally and inspire our teams while remaining focused on results and value creation. The candidate will possess the technical skills to work comfortably with our engineers while balancing a big-picture vision that can be communicated to our partners, leaders and customers.
What will you do?
Collaborate with Product Managers to formulate our product vision, strategy, and roadmap
Own the product backlog, balancing conflicting priorities to determine prioritization
Write and flush out user stories with the voice of customer in mind
Own the release planning and sprint planning processes, including setting release and sprint goals, successfully delivering on those goals and coordinating with marketing on the release announcement
Write and update product documentation and manage release updates.
Provide an active role in mitigating risks and issues impacting successful team completion of release and sprint goals
Determine a standard set of acceptance criteria for testing, QA and validation.
Ensuring acceptance criteria are met with current release and conducting sprint reviews from a business/customer perspective.
Producing documentation with Product Managers and Marketing to support development, launch, support, services, and sales and marketing initiatives. This includes leadership of tech driven initiatives.
Drive end user group testing and feedback sessions. Performing detailed product demonstrations for external and internal audiences to communicate the benefits of the solution
Serving as a subject matter expert to assist with sales, professional services, marketing and support as needed

Qualifications
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager leading development teams
Experience with Cloud-based SaaS product applications
Familiarity with Excel and financial data
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
Ability to balance conflicting priorities and negotiate a backlog with engineers and leadership
Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with financial products and software
Experience with ERP reporting or business intelligence products
Experience with ETL tools and data management
Experience with SQL
Experience with APIs
Certifications: Agile, Pragmatic Marketing, Scrum Product Owner
