Job Description
Overview
The Technical Implementation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing business requirements in order to model, design, deploy, and maintain data warehouse implementations for different customers across different verticals.
This position reports to the Professional Services Manager and will work closely with a team to communicate with business stakeholders, customers, end users and report architects to create, model, and deploy analytics and reporting applications that include dashboards, scorecards, and performance analytics.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into data models that lay the foundation for reporting and analytics.
- Assist in estimation, impact assessment and implementation planning.
- Model, design, and deploy data warehouses leveraging fact and dimension tables
- Design and deploy ETL processes using Sql Server Integration Services.
- Design and deploy cubes for multi-dimensional or tabular analysis
- Interface with customers to gather requirements and scope projects
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with customers and internal cross-functional partners.
- Strong SQL/TSQL skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing techniques is a huge plus.
- Experience working with Azure and reporting tools a plus.
