insightsoftware is growing fast and we’re scaling our Legal team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We’re looking for people with a growth mindset and pragmatic insight to solve today’s open issues while building for the future. insightsoftware seeks a Contracts Manager to be part of a flourishing, world-class legal team and help (i) drive, scale and improve the contracting operations of the legal department and (ii) assess, draft and negotiate a wide variety of contracts. The Contracts Manager will contribute to the acceleration of one of the fastest growing software companies in the world by managing a team of contracts professionals and enabling efficient and effective contracting processes with insightsoftware’s customers, partners and vendors. The Contracts Manager reports to insightsoftware’s Managing Corporate Counsel. A successful candidate will be a dynamic, adaptable leader eager to lock arms with like-minded individuals on the legal team to build excellence in our contracting processes.
Responsibilities
- Managing, mentoring and supporting a dedicated commercial team of contracts professionals
- Draft, review, revise and negotiate a wide variety of customer and partner agreements including licensing SaaS, professional services, and support, NDAs, amendments, and other agreements with the support of our Legal Dept. playbooks and our contracts lawyers
- Provide guidance to our internal clients on contractual questions
- Continuously streamline, scale and drive greatness in insightsoftware’s contract operations as insightsoftware rapidly accelerates by using software tools, new and improved processes, templates and guides, intellect and out-of-the-box thinking
- Administer and leverage insightsoftware’s software contracting tools, including LinkSquares, LawGeex and Salesforce CPQ
- Help develop robust reporting and uncover insights into our customers, contracts and contract operations by leveraging AI and other capabilities in our LinkSquares’ contract management solution
- Work closely and partner with the Sales, Customer Success and Partner teams to support revenue contracting
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years combined experience as a (i) transactional/commercial paralegal and/or (2) contracts manager/negotiation in contracts drafting and negotiations in software sales
- Management experience
- Strong experience building and improving contract operations
- Substantial experience utilizing software and technology tools to support of contract operations
- Sense of humor
- Passionate about building relationships and collaborating with legal teammates and key stakeholders
- Customer-focused mindset and excellent internal client-facing demeanor
- Problem solver and highly responsive
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize and manage workloads to meet deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Team player who can effectively engage with other members of the legal department and other functional groups

Additional Information
Raleigh or Boston-based candidate preferred but remote candidates in the Eastern Time zone will also be considered.
