The person we're looking for shares our vision about designing, building and implementing Corporate Performance Management (CPM) solutions in the dynamic environment. As a Solutions Architect, you will be designing and implementing our Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing, Consolidation and/or Planning Solutions largely based on the latest Cloud technology for leading, world class customers. Should be classified as an expert at implementing CPM solutions and a trusted advisor and coach to our resources and customers. To be successful in this role, you will need a deep understanding of the Finance, Tax, and Enterprise Planning function of larger organizations and an ability to learn how to architect multidimensional business applications quickly.

This person will have the insight and skillset to make the connection between a customer's specific business problems and our suite of products, the customer-facing skills to communicate that vision to a wide variety of technical and executive audiences, and the technical skills to implement the solution. Be able to provide consultative assistance on best practices as it relates to accounting processes, system architecture and implementation. This person will have strong implementation skills with the ability to build components of the Longview Solution as well as guide other resources through the implementation and project life cycle.

As a Solutions Architect at Longview, you will:

·         Be a technical resource interacting with customer accounting teams and technical teams to develop world-class Planning Solutions.

·         Ability to Scope, Design, and Implement solutions using the Longview Suite of products with a deep understanding of Longview architecture and development.

·         Design and implement customer solutions following best practices, including ensuring knowledge transfer so that customers are properly enabled and can extend the capabilities of their solution on their own

·         Work hands-on with customers to demonstrate and communicate implementation best practices on Longview technology

·         Flexibility and willingness to jump in and get done what needs to be done to make our customers successful

·         Keeping up to date on the ever-evolving technologies for data and analytics in order to be an authoritative resource for Longview and our customers.

·         working collaboratively with a broad variety of people both inside and outside the company.

·         Provide guidance on how to resolve customer and implementation team-specific technical challenges

·         Support other members of the Professional Services team develop their expertise

·         Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, whether impromptu on a whiteboard or using presentations and demos

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or similar
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel up to 60% (eventually - no travel required for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19)

• Strong Accounting Background and experience working in or with Corporate Finance and Accounting Organizations.

• Ability to facilitate all elements of design for customer solutions including process transformation, data interfacing and integration, complex modeling, reporting, dash-boarding and workflow.

• In depth knowledge of the Longview Solution Suite of products and development of.

• Ability to manage and mentor both the client and implementation team through the project life-cycle.

• Responsibilities include managing application design efforts through conducting design workshops with both the Finance and IT stakeholders

• Interface with key client stakeholders to understand customer initiatives and strategic direction to ensure the proposed solution meets the business’s needs. 

• Prepare design presentations, work estimates, proof of concepts, and functional and technical design documents for the client and implementation team.

• Experience with data management, cloud data warehouse, and data integration technology.
