Job Description

Our Equity Management, DVP is responsible for teaming with Sales Directors to aggressively grow the Equity Management business through new customer sales.  You will proactively engage with our Sales Directors and prospects to demonstrate the value of our products and solutions. You will also work with our product management, engineering and support organizations to represent prospect and customer needs with our product, service and support solutions.  Additionally, you will assist in the testing of our products to ensure they can be effectively demonstrated to prospects throughout the sales cycle.  Our ideal candidate embodies the voice of the customer to the insightsoftware team while leading to the best use of our solution to achieve their business objectives.

 What will you do?

  • Serve prospects by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products and services.
  • Identify future customer requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand requirements.
  • Provide product, service, technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Respond to RFPs, InfoSec and other questionnaires required by prospects
  • Determine improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in processes, or use of materials or services.
  • Gain customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, and anticipating future legislation, particularly around accounting and tax regulations for Equity Compensation.
  • Prepare sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting, finance or related field 
  • At least 5 years in a customer or prospect facing role with and Equity Compensation provider or issuer
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive 
  • High level of agility and ability to manage change 
  • Ability to work proactively and constructively in a fast-paced, collaborative, matrixed team environment 
  • Ability to travel up to 20%
