insightsoftware is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer reporting to the Executive Director of Solutions Engineering – North America. This position will handle product demonstrations and pre-sales support for our Sales Executives when selling Solutions to our Customers and Prospects.

The right candidate has strong executive presence and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate will ideally have a solid technical understanding of multiple Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) systems and be able to speak to and understand financial planning and reporting challenges faced by companies of all sizes and scope today. Candidate will have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
 

Responsibilities:

• Use knowledge of Financial Planning and Reporting solutions to assess prospect requirements
• Articulate how insightsoftware solutions solve specific business problems
• Deliver online and in person product demonstrations, specifically around financial planning and analysis software
• Assist with RFI and RFP document responses
• Travel to and present on-site demonstrations as needed
• Deliver presentations to support marketing efforts of our products
• Build relationships to become a trusted solution advisor

Competencies:

• Strong written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers who have varying levels of functional and technical expertise
• Comfortable presenting to and speaking with C-level executives

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 5+ years related work experience with Corporate Performance Management software
• Understand financial applications (budgeting, planning, forecasting, month end close, financial reporting and consolidations)
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning from a functional perspective
• Familiarity with advanced Excel capabilities and functions
• Previous experience with the insightsoftware suite of products preferred
• Experience working with multi-dimensional systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Knowledge of ETL data processes
