insightsoftware is seeking a Solutions Engineer reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering - Partnerships. This position will handle product demonstrations, pre-sales support, and partner enablement for our Channel and Publisher Partners. The perfect candidate for this role has strong executive presence and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is ready to take on this challenge! 

Job Outcomes

• Use knowledge of reporting solutions to assess prospect requirements
   
• Work with Channel Managers internally (Sales) and externally (Partner) to articulate how insightsoftware solutions solve specific business problems
   
• Deliver online and in person product demonstrations
   
• Travel and to present on-site demonstrations (travel beginning 2022)
   
• Concept installations and product training as part of sales the process and partner relationship
   
• Assist clients and partners in installing and deploying insightsoftware solutions when needed
   
• Build relationships to become a trusted solution advisor

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline

• 2-5 years experience as a Sales Engineer, Finance Business Analyst, or relevant experience

• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning from a functional perspective

• Advanced Excel capabilities 

• Knowledge of relational database concepts

• Ability to write SQL based queries and reports
