As a Solution Engineer you will work closely with prospects and existing customers alike to understand their operational and financial reporting needs and provide engaging, insightful product demonstrations and proof of concepts to address their requirements as well as provide training and other post sale professional services.

The position requires strong functional experience in SAP FICO with a solid understanding of the underlying technology as well as a genuine interest in financial planning and analysis. 

The chosen candidate must be a self-starter, possess strong organizational skills and have good written and communication abilities. The candidate should have a solid understanding from a technical and functional perspective of SAP and be able to speak and understand the challenges encountered by accounting and finance departments during the month-end and year-end close processes. 

Experience with other ERP's in addition to SAP would be preferred. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include: 

• Use knowledge of SAP, other ERP and insightsoftware solutions to assess prospect requirements and educate on the role and value of the insightsoftware suite of products
• Work with Account Managers to articulate how our solutions solve specific needs and problems
• Deliver online and in-person product demonstrations
• Conduct product trials with key prospects
• Present insightsoftware solutions at tradeshows, webinars, and other events
• Conduct interactive, classroom-style end user training
• Assist customers in deploying insightsoftware solutions 
• Convert and build financial and operational reports
• Monitor the case queue and respond to requests from customers and prospects for technical assistance providing timely resolution or escalation if required 

• Minimum 5 years’ of implementing/supporting SAP FICO and/or Business Intelligence systems associated with SAP FICO 
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology or related SAP qualifications
• Excellent working knowledge of business software and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
