Job Description

insightsoftware is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Order to Cash for this fast-growing financial software company based in Raleigh, North Carolina. You will play a critical role in achieving insightsoftware's mission by overseeing the North American customer order processing, fulfillment, billing, accounts receivable and collection processes with a focus to improve efficiencies and cash flow while delivering superior customer service. The Senior Manager, Order to Cash must be a strong leader and influencer who can drive change, improve processes, and provide sound solutions to both complex and routine business issues with a customer service focus. This role will interface with various functions including Sales, Finance, Product, Operations and Corporate Accounting reporting directly to the VP, Corporate Controller.

What will you do?

  • Manage the North American order processing, billing and collection supervisors whose collective teams consist of over 25 people.
  • Manage the assigned area of customer order processing ensuring data integrity between sales, order, and financial systems driving accurate reporting, billings, and revenue recognition
  • Develop and implement best-in-class customer invoicing and collections processes while utilizing technology tools to optimize efficiencies and accuracy of invoicing
  • Drive customer collections process to maintain cash flows and also develop and maintain an effective dunning escalation process
  • Work closely with customers/partners to resolve matters timely and partner with internal stakeholders to provide a positive customer experience driving scalability of process.
  • Maintain monthly account receivable aging reporting and analyze delinquent accounts. Prepare reports on highest risk accounts including recommendations for resolution
  • Report weekly on DPOs, AR aging and cash collections.
  • Set the objectives for the team to align with the finance department’s goals while driving to daily, weekly and annual KPI’s
  • Take ownership of legal and debt recovery matters portfolio-wide to ensure maximum collection at minimal expense
  • Effectively coach and develop the teams, ensuring they meet objectives and deadlines while monitoring and balancing team workloads
  • This role will require experience working in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adjust and respond to dynamic business conditions.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in accounting, finance or related field
  • M&A integration experience a plus
  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in customer service billing preferably within a high-volume, sales-driven software environment
  • A minimum of 5 years management experience
  • Software/SAAS industry experience required
  • Ability and desire to roll up their sleeves to get down to granular details at the line staff level to diagnose opportunities and hold colleagues accountable.
  • Have strong computer skills with MS Office products, NetSuite and Salesforce
