Corporate Counsel, Contracts

insightsoftware seeks to hire a skilled corporate counsel to help lead insightsoftware’s global contracting activities and contribute meaningfully in other legal areas for the business. We are a rapidly growing, global provider of enterprise software solutions for the Office of the CFO and are looking for a corporate counsel that will grow with us. Reports to the General Counsel.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review, draft and negotiate customer software agreements, partner agreements, data processing agreements, leases and complex supplier agreements
  • Liaise with, and support, insightsoftware’s contracts administrator team
  • Continuously improve all contract templates, liaising with foreign counsel on global templates
  • Drive scalability and operational excellence in deal processes and execution, including developing contract playbooks for legal and sales, and leveraging our linksquares CLM and salesforce CPQ software
  • Support the legal department in other areas, including compliance and dispute/litigation management.

Qualifications

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in software contracting
  • Strong knowledge of key legal concepts and levers in negotiations
  • Highly responsive
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and manage workloads to meet deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent legal and business judgment
  • Demonstrated capacity to actively solve complicated legal and business problems
  • Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player who can effectively engage with other members of the legal department and other groups
  • Flexibility to assist the legal department in its activities and its mission as needs arise
