Job Description

As a Professional Services Consultant, you will be training and implementing our CXO reporting platform for leading, world-class companies. CXO is insightsoftware’s solution for reporting on top of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) systems and aims at providing analytical support to the office of the CFO. Over time, you will become an expert at implementing CXO, along with additional Insight Software solutions. Eventually becoming a trusted advisor and coach to our customers.

To be successful in this role, you will need a good understanding of the Finance function, especially the Budgeting, Planning and Consolidation processes of larger organizations and an ability to learn how to use and configure modern reporting business applications quickly. 

What will you do?

• Implement the CXO software (and where needed – more of our products) for new and existing customers.
• Enhance and maintain existing customer’s applications
• Interact with customers to analyse their requirements and create reporting and analysis solutions (dashboards)
• Set-up and maintain the integration between CXO and underlying EPM systems and other data sources 
• Plan, prepare and perform product training
• In time, coach partners and customer in the configuration of customer solutions  
• Manage quality assurance and go-live of CXO applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree 
• 2-5+ years of experience in a systems related role within the Finance function of an organisation 
• Understanding of Planning, Budgeting and Consolidation processes and EPM in general

·       Good knowledge of Financial Reporting processes

• Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills 
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision and deal with several different activities in parallel 
• Proficient in generally used business applications such as Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as, CRM and ERP software solutions
• Knowledge of EPM suites of e.g. Oracle, SAP, OneStream or BI suites
• Ability to travel. This will vary. It could be up to 80% at times, although this will vary from project to project and many projects are largely conducted in virtual remote team (eventually - no travel required for the foreseeable future due to COVID-19)

Nice to have

• Consulting experience: Communication, Presentation, Demonstration and Analysis skills
• Knowledge of multidimensional (OLAP) solutions like Analysis Services and Essbase
• Knowledge of MDX
• Knowledge of other languages Proficient in SQL and its variations among popular databases
