Front End Web Developer

Responsibilities:

·       Work closely with leadership and developers to build exceptional, SEO-friendly digital experiences in WordPress

·       Own all aspects of the user experience from research, to design, to front-end development

·       Design and develop wireframes and user interfaces for web

·       Front-end development using HTML5, CSS, JS, jQuery within WordPress

·       Ensure code follows latest coding practices and industry standards

·       Perform performance (PageSpeed) testing & optimization

·       Lead discussions, gather project requirements, develop user acceptance testing plans

·       Design and execute tests to optimize the user experience and improve conversion rates

·       Revise, edit, proofread & optimize web content

Require Experience + Skills:

·       BA/BS required

·       2+ years’ experience in website UX/UI design

·       2+ years’ experience in website development

·       Expert-level understanding of web interactions, web-based layouts, and responsive design

·       Basic understanding of Photoshop & Illustrator and optimizing images for web

·       Experience with WordPress as a platform, including custom post types, taxonomies, and use of WordPress beyond typical “blog” use cases is a plus

·       Experience using GIT, LESS, Sass, Webpack, Grunt, Gulp is a plus
