To enable the Global Finance Team to enhance its support to the business and operate effectively, the Finance Business Partner must be a highly skilled and collaborative finance professional. The role will partner closely with our Operational functions to help drive profitable revenue growth, effective cost management, and informed decision-making.
In addition, the role will contribute to the preparation of the group's monthly management accounts and play a critical role in the monthly and annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner strategically with the Functional Executive members and Senior Leadership Teams to help drive global profitable growth and cost management, delivering insightful analyses and compelling narratives to help inform decision-making.
- Develop and monitor revenue and cost KPI metrics, with a dedicated focus on monitoring and managing functional spend.
- Serve as a trusted adviser to the leadership community, assisting in revenue and cost strategy through comprehensive trend, industry, KPI and forecasting analysis to identify and unlock future growth opportunities.
- Drive accurate revenue and cost forecasting as part of the group's monthly/quarterly / rolling forecast process.
- Help drive the budget process, ensuring key targets are met in line with the business planning timetable.
- Assist in the enhancement of reporting capabilities through the implementation of business intelligence reporting and minimising manual intervention by automation.
- Help with the continuous improvement process to ensure our systems and processes aid best-in-class reporting and analyses.
- Focus on the continuous improvement of variance and trend analysis reporting, using insights to inform and drive corrective actions across the business.
- Contribute to Strategic Programme initiatives as a subject matter expert, as required, along with any other ad hoc reporting and revenue-related projects.
- Drive the reduction of all non-value-add activity across functions and within existing processes.
- Document and formalise finance processes, controls, timetables and responsibilities.
How will you do this
- Provide unique insights into performance trends, identifying future growth and cost management opportunities.
- Produce monthly/quarterly financial reporting that provides our Executive team and senior leadership with outstanding financial insight into our business opportunities, strengths and weaknesses.
- You will have an excellent working knowledge of a range of financial processes with a clear vision and understanding of what best-in-class looks like.
- Build upon a robust, integrated forecasting process that provides an accurate, forward-looking view of our business performance, and proactively identifies and manages opportunities and issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across all levels of the business.
- You will use your strong commercial awareness to provide decision support to Senior leadership.
- You will proactively identify and take the lead to realise process and system improvement opportunities to ensure the seamless delivery of our financial services.

Experience and Skills
- A professional accountancy qualification is preferred (CIMA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent).
- A good track record of financial business partnering with Executive Teams and Senior Management.
- Strong Excel modelling skills (complex formulas) and highly proficient in working with large volumes of data.
- Extensive Finance systems experience would be advantageous – Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Strong experience working in a customer-focused environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve buy-in from various stakeholders and collaborate with other team members.
- The ability to analyse large, complex data sets, articulating clear, insight-led recommendations to stakeholders.
- Problem-solving, questioning mind-set, and always thinking about continuous improvement.
- Organised and able to plan to ensure delivery within agreed timeframes.
