Job Description
The Configuration Management Engineer works across teams within an agile scrum software development environment and is accountable for administrating the environments and tools necessary to support the development and deployment process. The Configuration Management Engineer must be able to work directly with Software Engineers, Database Engineers and other technical resources to understand requirements and dependencies related to software builds, environments and tools in order to ensure that conflicts can be mitigated and resolved.
Qualifications
• 5 – 7 years of Experience in Software Configuration Management at an Enterprise Level
• Experience in Microsoft Team Foundation Server/Source Control • IIS/Web Server Configuration and Optimization
• Active Directory
• XML Configuration Files
• IIS/Web Server Configuration and Optimization
• Automated Install Tools (Installshield/Windows Automated Installation)
• Command Line Script/Batch Files
• SVN
• .NET/C# Familiarity
• Microsoft SQL Server Administration (running SQL scripts, setting up permissions, making database modifications)
• Experience automating software builds and quality processes using various build automation or continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo or TFS
