Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Informatica BDM Developer with a solid background in Informatica PowerCenter, Big Data ecosystems, Scripting, and SQL/Hive database development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust ETL workflows, optimizing data processing pipelines, and integrating diverse data sources in a scalable environment. The role also requires proficiency in scripting for automation and deep expertise in SQL and Hive for database operations.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
As an Informatica BDM Developer, you will:
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL workflows using Informatica Big Data Management (BDM) and PowerCenter.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain workflows using Oozie to ensure seamless data scheduling and orchestration.
- Work with Big Data technologies, including Hadoop, Hive, and Spark, to process and analyze massive datasets efficiently.
- Create and manage Hive DB structures and advanced SQL queries to support reporting, analytics, and data integration needs.
- Automate and streamline processes using Shell scripting, Python, or other programming languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver robust data solutions.
- Troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensure data accuracy, and optimize workflows for performance and scalability.
- Adhere to data governance, compliance, and security best practices in all development tasks.

Must-Have Skills
- 5-11 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica BDM and PowerCenter.
- Strong expertise in Oozie workflow scheduling, including job coordination and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, and Spark.
- Advanced skills in SQL and experience with Hive DB for database design, query optimization, and data management.
- Solid scripting knowledge in Shell scripting, Python, or similar languages for automation and process enhancement.
- Proven ability to optimize workflows and pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
