Position overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, experience with Python, Jenkins, CloudBees, SCCM, orchestration, and patching. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and infrastructure automation processes. Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and CloudBees for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python for configuration management, infrastructure provisioning, and application deployment.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of software builds, deployment, and monitoring.
• Work closely with the infrastructure team to manage and optimize cloud-based environments, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement and manage orchestration tools to streamline and automate complex deployment processes.
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure that proper security measures are integrated into the CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Maintain and update SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software distribution, patch management, and system updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to build, deployment, and infrastructure using a systematic approach.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in DevOps and automation.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

Strong programming skills in Python for automation and scripting.

Experience with Jenkins and CloudBees for setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and infrastructure-as-code concepts.

Proficiency in SCCM for software distribution, patch management, and updates.

Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer, Certified Jenkins Engineer) are a plus.
