You will join a small in-house Resourcing Team that is passionate about attracting and hiring the best quality talent. A team who strive to get it right first time, every time and maintain a best in class experience for all.

The focus of your role

As Resourcing Advisor you will be aligned to a Resourcing Business Partner and will work with them to deliver best in class talent acquisition in the business. The key focus of the role will be recruitment process and candidate management helping to assure both hiring quality and process excellence.  This is a key role for driving recruitment process and has potential for succession to Resourcing Business Partner.

Qualifications

Accountabilities 

  • End to end vacancy management – assure vacancy lifecycle is managed supporting the relevant business partner in order to deliver time to fill, candidate experience, agency coordination
  • Process discipline and effectiveness – assure recruitment process discipline and effectiveness across vacancies portfolio in order to guarantee effectiveness and efficiency. 
  • Day to day agency coordination and management assuring interlock with vacancy and recruitment process.
  • Screen candidates within recruitment process to enable target and quality shortlists for business partners. 
  • Recruitment status queries – act as a first point of call on vacancy enquiries (external and internal)
  • Process and improvement – engage with the recruitment plan and recognise and communicate opportunities for process and other improvements in order to contribute to team development, effectiveness and best in class business support.

Key Responsibilities:  

The role of Resourcing Advisor is to support the Resourcing Business Partner and own candidate and agency management within your business areas.

The role is process orientated and you will be held accountable for ensuring that candidates are accurately managed in the ATS system.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Posting and managing roles on our ATS platform
  • Assigning roles to relevant Job Boards to support diversity in hiring
  • Working with agencies on our PSL to enable them to source agreed roles and managing the relationships on a day to day basis
  • Working to create job advertisements using tools like SeenIT
  • Supporting the Resourcing Business Partner in validating and screening direct applicants
  • Working with hiring managers to ensure timely feedback is provided to candidates post interview
  • Collating data for weekly resourcing meetings ensuring 100% accuracy
  • Supporting the broader team on a rota to take notes and share actions and outcomes at team meetings

As a small and highly collaborative team you will also be required to support the broader team during absences like holiday and short periods of sickness.

The role will enable those who show the aptitude and attitude the opportunity to develop.

Essential Knowledge and Skills you’ll bring to the role

 To be successful in this role you must love working with and talking to people. You will be inquisitive and open-minded and always on the lookout for those individuals who demonstrate the right attributes for the role you are sourcing.

You don’t need any specific level of education or qualifications but you must:

  • Have a solid background in recruitment in the UK market (agency side/RPO is preferential but not essential) and have experience or affinity to the implications of global/international recruitment
  • Be familiar using an ATS system and confident in navigating your way around the tool and generating reports
  • Be highly organised and process orientated and act as a champion, advisor and expert for others.
  • Be comfortable with change, ambiguity, enjoy working at pace and being part of a high performing team.
  • Understand the importance of accurate data reporting and be confident in tracking and reporting, delivering against metrics
  • Be curious of people and jobs, how they are matched and fit together and have an affinity for understanding organisations and teams and the importance of this to recruitment.
