Job Description

$34.10 + ($37.40) + shift differential per hour DOE. We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Millwright to plan and execute complex equipment maintenance.

Tasks include the safe install, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul of pulp and paper equipment. This includes move, assemble, disassemble, install, test, inspect, repair, maintain and align machinery and equipment such as gearboxes, rolls, conveyors, compressors, bearings, shafts, and other equipment related to pulp and paper manufacturing using tools, hoists, pulleys, dollies, rollers, trucks and precision measuring equipment. 

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial millwright expereince required.

Safety mindset in all work performed.

Excellent team player who's not afraid of hard work.

Proficient reading comprehension to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications as well as read and interpret technical manuals.

Experienced in using industrial hand tools and power tools as well as precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, levels, and alignment tools.

Excellent troubleshooting skills.

Thorough knowledge of load-bearing capabilities, fluid mechanics (hydraulic and pneumatic), and all components involved in process such as valves, cylinders, conveyors and compressors. Able to work with precise limits and standards of accuracy.

Additional Information

Journeyman pay rate is $34.10 per hour with ability to earn additional $3 per hour for plus rated skills.

Schedule includes 4-10 hour days per week, with occasional weekend duty that is preceded by 6 days off. Additional shifts available. 

New employees are subject to a 6 month probationary period.

IEP is a smoke-free and drug-free (including cannabis-free) production facility operating 24 hours per day/365 days per year.

Hourly employees are subject to random drug testing.
